I am an aspiring interior design professional from London, Ontario. My passion for interior design started through curiosity from the experiences I've gained throughout my journey here at Fanshawe. Through these experiences, I have learned how to create spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing to improve user well-being. Upon graduation, I aspire to travel to engage with interior design and architecture from a global perspective and although I admire all aspects of interior design, I am most drawn to residential, and small commercial projects that connect people to safe and welcoming interior environments.
Providing a Stress-free and Therapeutic Wellness Hub for Women with Anxiety
Women are twice as likely to be diagnosed with an anxiety disorder in their lifetime. An untreated anxiety disorder can cause extreme symptoms of stress, fear, worry, panic attacks, and avoidance of public spaces. The Women’s Wellness Hub is proposed to be a safe, women-only space where they will be able to meet, interact and connect with one another. To reduce anxiety, community connections are emphasized through providing mental health and well–being consulting spaces. Users will also have access to a fitness center with a variety of private and group training options to promote user well-being throughout the space.
