I have a passion for creating functional and visually aesthetic interiors that prioritize sustainability and occupant-wellness. I enjoy applying biophilic design principles to generate nature-inspired interior environments that help to promote a sense of calm and comfort. I am driven by the challenge to transform the various needs of the client into beautiful and purposeful spaces that represent inclusivity and practicality. My enthusiasm for design starts from the first idea all the way to finished product as the vision comes to life.

Design for a Pregnancy and Postpartum Wellness Centre to Promote Community Connection
IVELLE
Ivelle is a pregnancy and postpartum wellness centre designed to celebrate motherhood and female empowerment by providing a place to educate and support women through the challenges and excitement of bringing a baby into the world. The name Ivelle represents love, which encapsulates the feeling of tenderness and safety this design aims to provide. The design will embody this by creating a space for women to find love in themselves, one another, and their new baby. Ivelle promotes community connection by providing spaces for group activities and organic conversation. A sense of relaxation and calm is achieved through biophilic design, as well as considerations given to sustainable and healthy building materials. Safety and comfort is prioritized through visual privacy for women who may be emotionally fragile. Precautions are taken to consider women suffering postpartum depression who may be at higher risk for suicide. The overall design will aim to provide feelings of joy with exciting features, activities, and comfortable spaces that feel inviting and work to combat postpartum depression.
