Within Interior Design I am inspired by creating innovative, holistic and sustainable spaces that leave lasting impressions on the users utilizing the space. Space is known to impact our day-to-day lives both physically and emotionally, where creating spaces that enhance user experiences can change individuals perspectives on life. With a passion for sourcing new materials and finding creative solutions to the issue at hand that are efficient and effective, light can be shed on the small, overlooked details of the space that impact us the most. With an aspiration to explore all aspects within the field of Interior Design, this will allow me to continually educate myself within practice, enhance my way of thinking, gain new experiences, strengthen my abilities and develop further design opportunities within the future.

Rehabilitation Care Center: Designing Interiors to Aid and Support Physically and Psychologically Injured Athletes
KAiZEN
KAiZEN derived from the Japanese term of 'becoming one percent better everyday, the philosophy of continuous improvement' is a Rehabilitation Care Center that aims to enhance and support physically and psychologically injured athletes through innovative and holistic design approaches within the built environment. The rehabilitation care center provides users with various opportunities to physically and emotionally heal from injury, while also having the ability to educate themselves on preventative matters to enhance their overall health and well-being. With a balance between private, semi-private and open concept spaces, as well as the use of innovative materiality and biophilic integrations, a healing environment like no other evokes a sense of belonging where users begin to heal beyond the services available, through connections to the natural environment.
