I’ve always been passionate about interior design because I enjoy problem solving and puzzles. For me, every project is like a puzzle, and I greatly enjoy trying to figure out the perfect solution for the clients needs and wants.

Childcare Centre to Support the Sensory Needs of Children with Autism

UNTITLED

My capstone project is a daycare centre that is designed to better support the needs of children with autism, with a specific focus on their sensory needs. When you think about a lot of spaces designed for children, they’re often full of bright colours and can be quite overstimulating for children with autism. Due to this, I wanted to design a space where children with autism can have fun and be themselves while still having their sensory needs met and supported.
