After completing a Bachelor’s degree in psychology at King’s College, I pivoted in my education by enrolling in the Honours Bachelor of Interior Design program at Fanshawe College. Here I fell in love with design and developed a passion for human-centric design, user wellness and sustainability.  I find inspiration in the exploration of cities and the natural world.  I appreciate all areas of design, but would love to pursue projects in healthcare, retail, corporate office and residential design. I take joy in learning and will never stop pursuing my education in design.

Designing for Infection Prevention and Control to Reduce Strain on Staff in Long-Term Care

Thesis Capstone Project

This project proposes the design of staff spaces within a new Long-Term Care home located in an adaptive reuse site, the Roundhouse, in central London, Ontario.  The design for staff spaces will address the health and safety of all users and be an inclusive workplace for people of all backgrounds and abilities.  The staff areas will focus on wellness and the environment where they will feel like treasured members of the community while on shifts and have a place for tranquility and replenishment on breaks.  Be a part of the community at the Roundhouse Home for Long-Term Care.
