Makayla Hall

My passion for interior design comes from the opportunity to merge creativity with technical problem-solving. I enjoy developing thoughtful spaces that not only look visually compelling but also function effectively for the people who use them. Through my studies, I have discovered how impactful well-designed environments can be on comfort, experience, and wellbeing, which drives me to create spaces that are both meaningful and purposeful. I am truly passionate about the world of design and excited to continue learning, evolving, and discovering where this inspiring career path will take me.

A holistic out-patient oncology clinic prioritizing patient mind, body & soul.

Solace

Solace is a holistic outpatient oncology clinic designed to care, connect, and restore by reimagining the traditional clinical environment as a supportive place of healing. Moving away from sterile healthcare settings, the design introduces a warm, nature-inspired atmosphere that promotes comfort, dignity, and emotional well-being. Rooted in biophilic and trauma-informed design principles, natural light, organic forms, and layered textures create a calming environment. Residential qualities and home-like amenities soften the clinical experience, while spaces for privacy, connection, and reflection support patients throughout their unique care journey.
